Lathfest

Oh, what a night. Mid-April back in twenty ten, if I could I would do it again, what a concert, what a night.

I'm sure I don't have to convince anyone that Yardfest was amazing. Wale is thuper duper talented and fun and Cudder stole my heart. Seriously. His stuff is amazing live. You would think that since a lot of his music is really chill his concert would be too. But nahhhh. He had mad energy, did cool little dance moves, was SO CYUTE and said "yyeeahh" like how weezy does. I love him. Also, I didn't realize he was so small! Such a cutie pie.
Gah I love his music. It's cause his stuff is either really personal or just fun. While the videos I uploaded on FB are just short little snippets you should watch them. Better yet, see him in concert so that you can experience him for yourself. Not surprisingly, about two songs in I could smell mary-jane. Funny how they saved it until CuDi came on.

After the concert I went back to Thayer and jammed to some more Cudder and talked about how I now want to marry him (or at least tried to considering my voice is essentially non-existent). Also, I apologize if I yell at you tomorrow if we have a conversation. It's possible that I may not be able to hear anymore. Those were some very large speakers and I was very close to them. Not even complainin' doh.

Anyways, let me now take the time to discuss the infamous "Mather Lather". I will admit that it was pretty fun. Although I was skeptical at first considering 5 minutes after I arrived the fire alarm went off and we were forced to stand outside in the cold for 15 mins. Besides that, the party was pretty entertaining.
I feel like I should dispel some myths for people who weren't there. The party wasn't like you walk into the room and you are immediately surrounded by foam. Nah. You walk in and there's this column thingy in the middle. On each side of the column thingy there is a foam machine on top where foam is coming down. So yes, it is possible for you to be completely covered in foam is you are by the column thingy. If not it's mostly on your feet and legs and being completely covered is avoidable.
I noticed that most of the people who were completely covered were enjoying the foam with another person. I won't go into detail here but let me just say that I hope that both parties showered when they returned back to their rooms.

All in all last night was a very fun prelude to today/tonight, though I must admit I was nervous when I walked out of my dorm at 12 to find that it was raining. Not to worry though, Harvard sent out an e-mail saying that they had ordered thousands of ponchos in case they would be necessary for the concert. Lucky for us it cleared up, but now I wonder what they'll do with all the ponchos....what type uh waste? 'TEVS, right?!

After the concert I chilled and I just spent about an hour watching my FNL DVD from last year. SHOUT OUT 2 THE CAST!! U GUYZ MADE MII SENI0R SPRINGGG!!! MWWWAZZZ LYLSS.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. If not, listen to some CuDi and it'll make all of your troubles go away. Start with this.

Until next time,
JRJ
